Jay Schlow has been
around the rinks for the past 27 years, both as a player and a coach. In 1986
he began his playing career with the Old Bridge Wings where he spent 5 seasons.
Following his senior year of high school Jay spent some time at Brooks Academy
in North Andover, MA. At Brooks he was coached by several former NHL players
including former US Olympian Ted Dury. Following a brief stint at Brooks
Academy he attended Indiana University of PA where Jay was a 4 year letter
winner. In 1998-1999 he was captain of the team and recognized by the ACHA as
1st team all American. Following college Jay began coaching at the Bantam AA
level for the New Jersey Stars. After one season at the Bantam level and went
on to work with Midget level where he spent the next 4 seasons.Last season Jay
joined the Wolfpack and worked with the Midget Major team along with coach
Celano. Jay's no non-sense attitude has earned the respect and dedication of
his players for the past 6 years and hopes to bring the same this coming season.
